Wills & Powers of Attorney

Although an increasing number of clients now have Trust structures, it remains critical that people have Wills and in most cases Enduring Powers of Attorney.

A Will is essential to ensure your estate is administered in accordance with your wishes.

Enduring Powers of Attorney have become an important tool for ensuring that if you lose capacity during your lifetime, there is somebody – of your choice – who can look after your affairs on your behalf and with your best interests in mind.

In some cases, we are also seeing requests for Living Wills – or advanced directives – being put in place to cover certain situations involving incapacity.

At Morrison Kent, we not only recommend that all clients have Wills and Powers of Attorney but that those documents are reviewed on a regular basis to ensure their continued suitability.
